
Optician
Dr. Maha Ahmed was born and raised in the Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Biology from the University of California, Davis, and later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating cum laude.
Dr. Ahmed received comprehensive clinical training in both community health centers and private practice settings, caring for patients of all ages and with a wide range of visual and ocular health needs. She provides comprehensive eye care with clinical interests in primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and preventive eye health.
Having grown up in the Bay Area, Dr. Ahmed is especially excited to give back to her home community through patient-centered eye care. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and takes the time to listen to their concerns, explain their eye health, and ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ahmed enjoys running, traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is fluent in English and Urdu/Hindi.
